My Story:

I've been mountaineering all over the world since 2002, including operating in artic, desert and jungle environments as a Former Royal Marines Commando.
After sustaining an injury whilst on operational service, my rehabilitation was through mountaineering and outdoors adventures. Climbing and Mountaineering became a massive part of my life, offering a new challenge and focus. As I discovered the benefits of adventure led activities for improving mental and physical well-being, it became my ambition to enable people to discover their own adventures and benefit from being outdoors.

Since 2013 after gaining my first qualification I have had the pleasure of guiding people through their outdoors journeys as owner of Crag 2 Mountain.

My Story:

Since falling in love with Climbing and Mountaineering in 2015 I gained my first qualification in 2018, go on to achieve my MCI qualification in 2021.
Over these years I have sought out adventures in many forms, particularly enjoying big mountain climbs, dramatic sea-cliffs and winter climbing routes.
Prior to discovering my passion for teaching in the outdoors, I practiced as a Physiotherapist. Over the years I have amalgamated knowledge as a Physiotherapist and an Outdoors Instructor to develop expertise in working with children with disabilities in adventure led outdoors activities. I have also particularly enjoyed applying my physiology, muscle conditioning and movement analysis knowledge to support my climbing coaching skills.
As owner of Crag 2 Mountain my ambition is to empower women to have the skills and confidence to undertake their own adventures. I work to inspire children, families and adults to explore the outdoors, challenge themselves and hope to empower and encourage self-confidence and self-belief to continue discovering adventures independently.

My Story:

I began climbing in 2015 when Baz taught me the ropes. Since then, I have worked as a climbing instructor along side being a Physiotherapist.I have recently added to this skills list as a member of the Fire Services.
Climbing quickly became my passion, and I’m always eager to learn new skills. I hope to complete my coaching qualifications, and work towards becoming a Mountain leader.
I enjoy teaching new skills to people, and have developed expertise in working with people through my jobs. As a physiotherapist, I have worked with many people enabling them to return to doing activities they enjoy. My ambition is to use this expertise to enable everyone to discover the benefits of adventure led activities and being outdoors.
